Mark R. Folgmann, ChFC, AIF, CLU has more than 25 years experience in the financial service business primarily managing the assets and tax situation of high net worth individuals while representing large financial service companies. Mark is a Registered Advisor with NAPFA and also is a 5 Star Rated advisor with the Paladin Registry.

In 2004, frustrated by the conflict of interest inherent in a commission-based sales environment, he founded Ark Advisors LLC, a fee-only registered investment firm, so that he could devote his entire attention to providing clients objective, unbiased advice.

His investment philosophy is derived from his study of modern portfolio theory. By utilizing "Institutional Only" asset class mutual funds from Dimensional Fund Advisors and Vanguard, Ark Advisors LLC is able to implement proven investment strategies that are not usually accessible to retail investors.
